Valentsov Vladimir
Vladimir Valentsov's painting is characterized by luminosity, finesse, vivacity and audacity of plastic solution, sharpness of perception and admiration of nature's miracle.
Was born in 1950 in Moscow. In 1976 passed art-graphic faculty Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1980 is the member of Moscow branch of USSR Union of Artists.
At the beginning of his creative activity this artist works actively in cities of Central Asia and Siberia. In 1990 for the first time painter drew from nature in Europe (Paris, Normandy). In 1991 he creates a series of works on the southern France. In 1993 his personal exhibition took place at French-Russian House (Berre-les-Alpes) at home of Réné Guerra - famous collector of Russian art.
Valentsov is well-known in Europe: Grand prix of French fine arts Academy "De Lutèce" (1998) and an honorable medal of the city of Lancroitre (France, 2004). André Leoni, known French artist, was first to characterize Valentsov's style as "Russian impressionism". Luminosity, finesse of colour palette, finesse, vivacity and audacity of plastic solution, sharpness of perception and admiration of nature's miracle - are components of Vladimir Valentsov's picturesque partition.
This artist works in different genres: landscape, still-life, and portrait. He travels much, and all his works are executed in-situ. His paintings produce magic influence on the spectator due to his filling of nature and mastership.
His pictures are in the state museums and private collections of Russia and Europe, including National museum of Spain (Logroño) and Painting Museum of Santoña (Spain).
Vladimir Valentsov painting attracted the attention of solid European Auction House: Farrando - Lemoine, Boisgirard (Druo).
Since 1996 Vladimir Valentsov is constant participant of All-Union, Republican and Moscow exhibitions.
